Career Development is not merely a service we provide to our graduating vocational students; it is a way of life. The centerpiece of our Career Development program is a unique lecture series that provides real-world, practical instruction in the largely unknown secrets that ultimately determine who gets hired into the most desirable jobs and who is left standing on the sidelines, out of the game.
An experienced executive, with a background in Organizational Psychology and Executive Search as well as nearly 30 years of high-level hiring experience, delivers the lectures.
Our graduates learn:
Which cover letters get through the first gate;
How to write a resume that will make the prospective employer like and respect them
before they ever meet;
How to get interviews with the companies they want to work for;
How to get job offers virtually every time they interview;
What is negotiable in a job offer, and how to be a power negotiator;
How to close the deal and get the job they want.
CDM also offers its traditional Career Development services, such as free lifetime placement assistance, to supplement its comprehensive Career Management program. Graduated students have found the strength of our traditional Career Development services coupled with the skills presented in our Career Management program to be an indispensable asset in their quest to attain meaningful employment.
