Certified Nurse Assisting (CNA)
|
|
"Job prospects for formally trained
technicians should be very good. Employment
of medical
assistants, medical records and health information technicians
is expected
to grow much faster than the average for
all occupations through 2010, due to rapid growth
in
the number of medical tests, treatments, and procedures
which will be increasingly
scrutinized by third-party
payers, regulators, courts, and consumers."

of Labor.

Become a C.N.A…and make a difference! The Nursing Assistant Course prepares you for employment as a nursing assistant in a health care facility or home health agency. Emphasis on this certificate program is placed on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic personal and nursing care. Students receive classroom and lab instruction as well as supervised clinical experience in a nursing home. The nursing assistant is responsible for assisting a client with personal care; fluid and nutrition; mobility; and elimination needs. In addition to meeting physical needs, nursing assistants also play an important role in meeting the emotional needs of clients. The Nursing Assistant Program is an opportunity to learn skills and prepare for a career in the health care field. If you have a desire to help people, are comfortable working closely with clients while providing personal care, and to work as a member of a team, then a career as a nursing assistant is for you. This field of work also serves as a stepping stone for advanced nursing or health care occupations.
CDM Institute is accredited
by the National Healthcareer Association, (NHA) and
is both an approved training and exam site for medical
field certifications.
