Series Description and Objective: This 90 hour lecture series is a combination of two existing CAD courses: AutoCAD Fundamentals (Level 1) and Advanced AutoCAD (Level 2). At the conclusion of this series each student will be armed with a solid, multi-discipline CAD design background as well as real-world techniques to apply in the workplace.
Series Prerequisites: No previous CAD experience necessary. However, drafting, design or engineering experience is a plus. A working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems is preferred.

This 50 hour hands-on course covers the basic AutoCAD commands necessary to create, edit and plot a drawing. Fundamental concepts of creating, editing, dimensioning, viewing, managing and plotting two-dimensional drawings will be covered.
Course topics are presented within civil, structural, mechanical or architectural application framework.

This 40 hour course covers additional commands, concepts and techniques not covered in the AutoCAD Fundamentals course. The logical progression puts emphasis towards increasing productivity using newly introduced tools, 3D design techniques, and refining current techniques.

Program Schedule:
Day School - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:20a.m. to 2:30p.m.-9 weeks
Evening School - Monday and Tuesday (Fundamentals), Wednesday and Thursday (Advanced) from 6:00p.m. to 10:10p.m.-11 weeks
Weekend School - Saturday from 9:00a.m. to 2:00p.m.-18 weeks
