Program Objective: To train the student in the operation of AutoCAD software to enhance professional job opportunities or to enable the student to re-enter the workforce.
Program Prerequisites: A high school diploma, an interview with a school administrator and employment in a design, engineering or drafting position or possession of sufficient occupational competencies is required.
Program Description: The AutoCAD Drafting program provides in-depth and comprehensive exposure to AutoCAD. It emphasizes the most commonly used commands and features to produce typical on the job drawings. An abundance of open lab time ensures a solid working knowledge of the software.
