Training Dots Program Summary: This introductory course uses 3D Studio VIZ R3 for 3-dimensional model creation, editing, viewing, lighting, apply materials, rendering, and animation.

Who Should Attend?: This course is designed to bring the drafter, designer, engineer or experienced user to a productive level of experience using the features, commands and tools in 3D Studio VIZ. It is an appropriate course for individuals who create 3D models, render and animate design content.

Program Prerequisites: AutoCAD 2000, 2000i, 2002 or working knowledge and experience creating 3D models. This course is designed for the new or novice 3D Studio VIZ user. A knowledge of Windows-based operating systems is also recommended.

Course Content: 3D concepts, creating objects in 3D space, creation and editing tools, viewing in 3D, transforming objects, modifying objects, creating shapes, materials and the materials editor, mapping materials, lights, cameras, tracking, scenes, DWG linking, rendering, animation and walkthroughs.

Objectives: Upon completion of this course they will have learned the features, commands and enhancements of 3D Studio VIZ.
