Program Objective: This program is designed to acclimate the student with the principles of bookkeeping

Program Description: This 120 hr course is designed to prepare the student to perform the bookkeeping and accounting functions commonly found in a small to medium size business. Topics include; double entry accounting, account setup, analyzing and recording transactions, special journals, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash disbursements and cash receipts. Students learn through realistic accounting simulations and projects utilizing computer accounting software. Students are trained on both Quickbooks and Peachtree software applications.
