Program Summary: This advanced class is designed to give the students extensive hands-on programming time on the CNC Mill and an introduction to CAM software. Building upon the knowledge gained from the basic G-Code programming class, each student will create a tool path, post a part program from the CAM system and download it to the CNC machine to fabricate the part. The student will learn to set the work coordinate system and all necessary tool offsets.
Who Should Attend?: Individuals looking to further develop knowledge of milling machine center and its functions.
Program Prerequisites: Course #CN040 or equivalent. Computer Literacy. AutoCAD or other CAD software is helpful.

Controlling lead in/lead out parameters
