Traning Dots Program Summary: This 24 hour hands-on course covers the fundamental concepts, tools, and functions necessary to manage projects, work with point information, create topographic maps, parcel maps, and horizontal alignments using Autodesk® Land Desktop. Topics will also include creating coordinate geometry, annotating linework, defining surface models, calculating earthwork quantities, site analysis techniques, and lot sizing.

Who Should Attend?: This course is designed for the Civil Engineer or Surveyor who requires knowledge of Autodesk Land Desktop features and functionality. It is an appropriate course for all land-based disciplines such as planners, surveyors, civil engineers, foresters, construction engineers or any other resource-based industry professional.

Program Prerequisites: AutoCAD Fundamentals and Microsoft Windows 2000 or NT 4.0 is attained to gain the maximum benefit from this course. Standard engineering practices and terms are used throughout the course, so a basic understanding of these practices is suggested.
